Kids in the Creek

Kids in the creek is a day long field event that primarily involves elementary and middle school students in Knox County. During their day in the creek, the students are introduced to stream habitats and ways to protect them. TVA leads this program in coordination with the District and the other Beaver Creek Watershed partners.

Stream Chemistry

Students test the chemistry of the stream.

Students collect Benthic Macroinvertebrates that live on the bottom of the stream.

Fish Population Assessment

The students join in on the fish population assessment.
