Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC) is to assist the Beaver Creek Task Force (BCTF) in the process of developing a comprehensive Watershed Restoration Plan to address the problem of polluted runoff that has caused Beaver Creek to be listed as an impaired stream by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).

The Beaver Creek Task Force expects that members of the Stakeholder Advisory Council will use their knowledge of the values and vision of their respective communities to help choose those restoration practices for Beaver Creek that will be cost effective and acceptable to people who live in the Beaver Creek Watershed.
