Water on Wheels
According to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, the water quality in Beaver Creek is too impaired to fully support water supplies, aquatic life and recreation. Public education is necessary to improve the watershed and its surrounding habitats. This is why Hallsdale-Powell Utility District has created "Water on Wheels" to proactively educate area students on protecting and restoring the quality of water and life in Beaver Creek. This program is offered to third grade classes across the district. If you are interested in bringing this lesson to your classroom, please contact Sarah Berry at 865-925-3948.
