What is TN One Call?
All individuals preparing to perform activities, such as digging, excavating, or moving of earth, are required by Tennessee state law to notify local utility companies of their intentions to perform work that could potentially damage underground utilities no less than three business days prior to performing work. TN One Call is a system established to assist with the protection of underground utilities by providing an advance notification service. Those interested in moving earth can elect to contact TN One Call by dialing 8-1-1.
