Tennessee One Call

What is TN One Call?

All individuals preparing to perform activities, such as digging, excavating, or moving of earth, are required by Tennessee state law to notify local utility companies of their intentions to perform work that could potentially damage underground utilities no less than three business days prior to performing work. TN One Call is a system established to assist with the protection of underground utilities by providing an advance notification service. Those interested in moving earth can elect to contact TN One Call at 800-351-1111. Aided with the information regarding proposed work, TN One Call will notify utility members, at which time the utility has 72 hours, excluding holidays and weekends, to locate the underground facilities. Once a ticket is issued it is valid for 15 days from the date of issuance after which it is considered expired.
